Onboarding Process
CV Submission & Screening

Start by submitting your CV through our user-friendly portal and specify your skillset, experience, where you are able to work and how you would like to engage with us. Our team will quickly screen your submission.

Clinical Interview

If your CV meets the criteria for the clinical positions at The Surgical Consortium, you may be invited to participate in an interview.


Following a successful interview and by mutual agreement, you'll receive an invite to commence with the compliance checks.


We take compliance seriously but try to make it as efficient as possible. Using our compliance system, you will be prompted to provide & evidence certain details. We are on hand to ensure any questions are promptly answered.


You'll receive a contract outlining your role, benefits, rates and obligations. You will need to sign this before you are able to work.

Rota Inclusion

Once you have signed your contract, you will be added to our rota management system where you can claim shifts, specify your availability, communicate with the other clinicians and our internal teams.

First day on the job

Our rota management application will give you everything you need to work a shift with us. We also have a clinical coordinator available on the day to introduce you to the team and support you on your first day.

The timeline for implementing insourced solutions can vary depending on the complexity of the project and the specific requirements of the client. We work closely with our clients to develop a customised implementation plan that meets their timelines and objectives. We run a comprehensive mobilisation plan to ensure this is done safely and maintain high clinical standards.

We provide all services at a significant discount to the National Tariff. We only bill for work completed and do not charge for DNA's or any of the additional administrative services we provide. We work with you to understand your PTL to provide a bespoke quote depending on your needs.

We are on all the national insourced service frameworks including; SBS, NOECPC, Wales and Countess of Chester.

Our insourcing company offers a comprehensive range of services tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients, including administration, patient & GP contact, MDT attendance, ensuring your systems are aligned. We also offer PTL validation at no charge.

Insourcing provides greater control, flexibility, and customisation options compared to outsourcing. It allows organisations to maintain direct oversight and management of operations, fostering better alignment with organisational goals and values.

We measure the success and effectiveness of our insourcing solutions through various metrics, including your objectives & outcomes defined at the outset. Others include cost savings, productivity improvements, customer satisfaction, patient satisfaction and overall business impact. Yes, we have extensive experience assisting organisations with transitioning from an outsourced model to insourcing. Our team works closely with clients to develop a customised transition plan, providing support and guidance every step of the way to ensure a seamless and successful transition.

Our insourcing company sets itself apart through the provision of wraparound care. We sign data protection agreements before using our own systems to maximise efficiencies, whilst still keeping local systems up to date. We allow you to leverage the technological innovations that the local systems are not yet able to implement. We are not a locum agency. We take responsibility for every aspect of the pathway. We can offer full service solutions or hybrid models (depending on requirements) to deliver tailored solutions that meet the unique needs and objectives of each client, setting them up for long-term success and growth.
